Message from School Owners

Owners Chief Master Mark Sustaire and his wife Sr. Master Barbara Sustaire bring a special set of skills combined with many certified instructors on staff that can reach the many abilities of students who enter their doors while making them feel part of the Taekwondo family. In addition to teaching these classes, all instructors continue to hone their own taekwondo skills through continual training and competitions.

PERSEVERENCE, RESPECT, GRATITUDE, SELF-CONTROL, & SELF-DEFENSE

When a student learns Songahm Taekwondo, the focus of his or her training is not only on physical strength and growth, but also on important skills that will help lead to personal successes in life. These Life Skills will benefit students inside the classroom and beyond. After all, a healthy individual is characterized by a strong body and a strong mind so that you can attack any curve ball life throws your way.

Part of the Family

All instructors strive to get to know each student personally in order to provide a safe, family oriented experience. This makes each student want to come to class because they feel like they belong and have a part to play in the learning and in the fun that goes on in classes each and every day.

A typical child can never focus on a sole task and that is because of their inherently less attention span. Children will do a dozen different things within a span of an hour.
